Mechanical and technological bases interaction of tractors running systems with a fertile soil layer is given in monograph. Outlines the current situation occur in the Ukrainian domestic market of agricultural tractors. The principles of formation of the traction force of tractors and vehicles are outlined. It was developed the mathematical model of MTU work dynamics based on the analysis of the forces operating at technological operation of ploughing. The obtained results that allow calculating the actual rolling radius of the wheel and evaluate the slipping of the drive wheels of self-propelled machines in accordance with the air pressure in the tires and the parameters of interaction with the support surface. Equations for the curvilinear trajectory of a four-wheeled vehicle in the parametric form of a function of turning angle of the machine frame were obtained. The scheme for determining the distribution of tension in soil under condition of vertical loading was developed.
